8th March 2019, Women’s Day. A day for celebration and rejoicing as Canossa High School is an all-girls school. The day began with a prayer and a prayer song thanking the Almighty for womanhood. A few words were spoken on the importance of the day. A wonderful P.P.T was then shown to our future women, the girls of Canossa. It informed the girls that all over India the woman has made her mark in every field bringing glory and honour to our motherland. This was followed by a wonderful skit focusing the plight of woman in daily life where she may be exploited unless she says ‘No’. A dance was then put up depicting freedom which every woman yearns for. The programme ended with the Principal Sr. Margret Sequeira addressing the future woman of India with pride and love
