Cancer Awareness Session at Canossa High School

The Cancer Control Mission conducted an insightful session on Cancer Awareness at Canossa High School on 13th August, 2025. The spokesperson, Mr. Pavan Kumar, addressed the students on the factors that increase the risk of cancer and emphasized the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. He highlighted how balanced healthy eating habits, regular exercise, and maintaining both physical and mental well-being can play a vital role in reducing the risk.

Mr. Kumar also urged the students to spread awareness among their families about the dangers of tobacco, junk food and other harmful substances. In addition, he shared valuable information, noting that heart disease remains the leading cause of death, followed by cancer. The session left the students better informed and motivated to make healthier choices for themselves and their communities.
