Canossa High School

Marathi Divas was celebrated at Canossa High School on March 1, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The students, dressed in Maharashtrian attire, presented a wonderful assembly under the guidance of their teachers. The program began with an introduction to the theme, followed by a prayer service. The students highlighted the significance of Marathi Divas, celebrated on the birth anniversary of Kusumagraj (V. V. Shirwadkar). The students spoke about the importance of the Marathi language and showcased a vibrant dance performance. One of the students, dressed in traditional Maharashtrian attire, expressed how Marathi is the pride of Maharashtra and of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Lastly, Sr. Margaret addressed the assembly in Marathi, stressing on the importance of the language.
